| Omnium Desjardins | | | | A RECORD AMOUNT FOR LA CITÉ COLLÉGIALE On Friday, June 11, nearly 250 people took part in the 21st edition of Omnium Desjardins, organized by the Ottawa region’s Caisses populaires Desjardins in partnership with the La Cité collégiale Foundation. The $70,000 raised will be matched by the Government of Ontario. Therefore, a total amount of $140,000 will be paid into the Fonds de bourses Trillium to assist Cité collégiale students who have special learning needs. | | Member appreciation day | | | On Saturday June 12, the Caisse held its member appreciation day. A BBQ and car wash were featured. Over $650 in donations was received, and the Caisse doubled that for a total of $1,300.
